WayThrough

Terms of Service

Last updated: June 7, 2026

Important: WayThrough is a benefits navigation tool. It is not legal advice, not a benefits determination, and not an application. Program eligibility shown is approximate and based on publicly available criteria — actual eligibility is determined by the agency administering each program. Always verify directly with the program before relying on results.

1. Who we are

WayThrough is operated by getmAIde LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) incorporated in Virginia. By using WayThrough, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What WayThrough does

WayThrough is a free, client-side benefits eligibility navigator. You enter information about your household, income, and circumstances; the app returns a list of federal, state, and local programs you may qualify for, along with links to official program pages and intake resources.

WayThrough is free to use. There are no paid tiers. We do not charge for eligibility screening, PDF exit packets, or navigation assistance.

3. Not legal or benefits advice

WayThrough's eligibility results are estimates based on published program criteria. They do not constitute:

  • A formal benefits determination
  • Legal advice or legal representation
  • A guarantee of program eligibility or enrollment
  • A substitute for consultation with a caseworker, attorney, or licensed benefits counselor

Program rules change. Local availability varies. Always contact the program directly to confirm eligibility and apply.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use WayThrough to submit false information to government programs on behalf of another person
  • Scrape or systematically extract program registry data without written permission
  • Misrepresent WayThrough results as an official agency determination
  • Use WayThrough in connection with any service that charges individuals for benefits navigation

Personal use, caseworker support, community outreach, academic research, and nonprofit integration are encouraged. Contact us at support@getmaide.com to discuss API or integration partnerships.

5. Your data and privacy

Your intake information (income, household, circumstances) is processed entirely in your browser. It is not sent to our servers during normal use. See our Privacy Policy for full details, including the email exit packet exception.

6. Program accuracy and availability

WayThrough's program registry is maintained by getmAIde and is updated periodically. Program eligibility thresholds, income limits, and availability may have changed since last update. We make no warranty regarding the current accuracy of any program listing. getmAIde is not affiliated with any federal, state, or local government agency. Program names and logos are the property of their respective agencies.

7. WayThrough Drive

WayThrough Drive stores your context and documents on an encrypted USB drive under your control. getmAIde never has access to Drive contents. You are responsible for securing your Drive device. If the Drive is lost, your data cannot be recovered by getmAIde — we have no copy.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, getmAIde LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of WayThrough, including but not limited to: reliance on eligibility results for benefit program applications, missed deadlines, or enrollment outcomes. Because WayThrough is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to $10 USD.

In plain wordsIf a result is wrong and you rely on it, we're not legally on the hook. WayThrough is free, so the most we'd ever owe for any claim is $10.

9. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Disputes shall be resolved in state or federal courts in Virginia. You consent to personal jurisdiction there. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in force.

In plain wordsIf there's ever a legal dispute, it's handled under Virginia law in a Virginia court. If one clause doesn't hold up, the rest still stands.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be noted by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of WayThrough after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
